4 Tips For Rain on Your Wedding Day: Wedding Wednesday

Rain on your wedding day is something that all couples hope will not happen. However, it does happen and although it isn't an ideal situation it is still going to be fine! Remember, rain on your wedding day is good luck!

If rain does arise on your wedding day, here are some tips to help you still have your dream wedding.

1. If you are having an outdoor ceremony and/or reception, make sure you have a rain plan. Having a rain plan before the big day arrives will save you from having to scramble last minute to come up with a plan. Have a backup indoor location or have a rental company on speed dial that you can contact for tent rentals.

2. If rain does happen, don't panic! Step back and let your vendors move forward with your rain plan. There is no reason for you to have to rush around and put your plan into effect, your wedding coordinator and your other vendors will make sure everything is in place and that your venues are ready for the rain and for your guests.

3. As long as it is not a torrential downpour, then you should still try to take some of your couple portraits outside with the natural light. Even though your photographer will be able to find and make some beautiful images for you both inside, you will still want some outdoor portraits. For this to happen in the rain, all you will need is a little bit of cover. This can be anything from a clear/cute umbrella, an overhang, or a porch. This will allow your photographer to keep you both dry but will also let you get some of the beautiful couple portraits that you were envisoning and planning for.

4. Relax and forget about the rain! You will still have an amazing beautiful wedding and perfect portraits to last a lifetime! A little rain never hurt anyone.
