Get ready to feast your eyes on Anna and Nick's gorgeous vow renewal! Anna and Nick have known each other most of their lives. They first met in kindergarten. One of their earliest memories of each other were when they were around 6 and were discussing the presidential candidates and arguing about how they could support the presidential candidate that they preferred. Even though they have known each other for almost their whole lives, they didn't start dating until they were both attending college at Purdue University. After college they both moved to New York City and started their lives together. Nick ended up proposing at The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York. Of course Anna said yes! These two wanted a wedding with all of their closest friends and family but life had another plan for them. They were expecting! Anna and Nick tied the knot on December 2, 2017 in New York with just their immediate family. After their adorable son Kaz was born, they decided to do a vow renewal where they could invite all of their family and friends. This Saturday was their vow renewal!
They held their ceremony at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette, Indiana. They both come from Catholic families and their faith plays an important part of their relationship so they wanted their vow renewal to include that in as well. What made their vow renewal ceremony extra special was that Nick's father and brother were both involved! Nick's father is a Deacon so he helped officiant their ceremony and Nick's brother is studying within the church so he also played an important part in their ceremony. Their reception was held at the Lafayette Country Club and they had navy, white, black, and green accents throughout their day and roses, baby's breath, and ruscus filled their wedding. They got to have the vow renewal of their dreams and was able to be surrounded by their friends, family, and of course with their son.
