The Graceful Gathering 2020

Last week, I traveled to Cleveland, Ohio for The Graceful Gathering conference. The Graceful Gathering is a styled boutique conference for photographers and I was honored to be chosen as one of the speakers for the event. I gave a keynote prevention all about blogging and also gave a breakout session all about getting published. If you want to see a few images from the event, keep reading! I, honestly, was having so much fun that I didn't take that many photos but here are a few cell phone shots!

I started out my journey early afternoon on Sunday and made the 5 1/2 hour drive to Cleveland.

I stayed in a super adorable Airbnb with a few of the other speakers.

I will always take photos in cute mirrors.

I settled into my room and ordered some yummy takeout from Blue Habanero and then got some shut eye.

The Graceful Gathering officially kicked off bright and early on Monday morning! We arrived to this gorgeous set up!

There were lots of yummy donuts waiting for all of us.

Things kicked off with a keynote by Chad Diblasio. And of course we all drank yummy coffee from Birdtown Coffee.

Day 1 was also when I was giving both of my presentations. I started out with my keynote all about blogging for photographers. (Thank you Jaime Greene for taking a few photos for me!)

We had a yummy lunch and then it was time for my breakout session where I talked all about getting published as a wedding photographer.

There were several more presentations and then it was time for a yummy pasta dinner. After dinner it was time for everyone to take some amazing images at the gorgeous styled shoot!

If you want to see images that I took at this styled shoot, I'll be posting a blog next week with images!

We ended the night with an ice cream social and a 360 photo booth!

Day 2 also started bright and early and kicked off with a keynote by Devin Robinson. There were several other speakers and then we had a yummy Panera lunch and got to get some cookie dough from this adorable cookie dough truck!

After lunch, we had a few more presentations and then everything ended with an impromptu sing along led by Courtney, Robert, and Chad.

After everyone said their goodbyes, it was time for the second styled shoot! If you want to see my images from this styled shoot, I'll be posting a blog in a couple weeks! I stayed and got a few photos and then headed back to our Airbnb to grab some pizza with some of my roommates.

The Graceful Gathering was so much fun and I am honored that I was able to be a part of their first year! Keep an eye out for information on year two because you really won't want to miss it!
