Dakota and Alex are married! You may remember these two from their West Lafayette backyard engagement last year. (You can view that HERE.) These two first met back in 2013 through mutual friends while they were both attending Purdue University in 2013. They hit it off and have been together ever since! Fast forward several years and Alex proposed to Dakota while they were going to dinner. They stopped on the way and said he wanted to look at a building at Purdue. Once they got to the Engineering mall, he dropped to one knee and asked Dakota to marry him. She obviously said yes! He had their friends scattered around the area and they all popped out to take photos and to celebrate them!
Their wedding on Saturday was just perfect! They had a Bridgerton and spring vibe throughout their wedding and filled it with blush colors. They held their ceremony at St. Mary Cathedral in downtown Lafayette, Indiana. They both grew up at Catholic Churches and loved the look of St. Mary's. They held their reception at the Tippecanoe Amphitheater in West Lafayette, Indiana. They loved that it helped them to be able to bring the spring vibe into their wedding easily. It was the most beautiful day and Dakota and Alex loved getting to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family!
