For today's Wedding Wednesday we have a guest post by Jeff Olsen of The Quest For Travel: A Journey by Jeff. Jeff is a travel agent and specializes in honeymoons so he compiled 5 things that you should consider when booking your honeymoon.
A Checklist for Travel
All of the small things about travel can give you headaches. This is a small checklist to relieve some of your stress planning your trip.
1. Research Your Trip
Whether it is a cruise or a tour to Ireland, make sure you know what is included and any extra expenses.
2. Know Your Transportation Times
It is always better to be early for a departure. Allow plenty of time for any situation that may come your way.
3. Pack Light
Try to pack as many staple pieces as you can. They can be used with various basic. Remember to roll your clothes for more space and less wrinkles.
4. Enjoy the Scenery
If you put your phone down, you can get the most out of your honeymoon destination.
5. Honeymoon Clothes
Pack your clothes wisely. If taking a tour to Britain or Ireland, they can experience all 4 seasons in a day. Make sure you have all the right clothes to adjust. Cotton, chambray, and poly blends will keep you cooler in tropical environments, like Hawaii or Mexico.
If you follow these steps and allow Jeff to help plan the rest, you will have a stress free honeymoon.
