Meet the adorable Elizabeth and Doug! Elizabeth may look a bit familiar because she's a former client of mine! I've taken photos of her and her daughter Lacie in the past! I was so excited when Elizabeth reached out with news of her engagement and wanted me to photograph their big day! I can't wait!
Elizabeth and Doug have been together for almost a year now. They first met at church. Doug had been a member of the church for quite awhile now and Elizabeth recently joined this church. When Elizabeth joined, Doug was gone for a bit so they didn't meet right away. When Doug came back, Elizabeth was passing out programs and Doug was instantly smitten! They started talking and then realized that they were perfect for each other!
Doug proposed to Elizabeth this September. He was purchasing a new house, which will become their house after they get married, and thought the closing of the house would be the perfect opportunity! His realtor always takes some fun photos of the new homeowner and the house so he knew it would be an easy way to surprise Elizabeth and get some photos too! While Doug, Elizabeth, and Lacie were posing for a photo, Doug dropped to one knee and asked Elizabeth for her hand in marriage. She obviously said yes!
These two will be tying the knot in June at the gorgeous Willow Creek Barn. It's going to be a beautiful day!
