Meet the lovely Allie and Samuel! Allie and Samuel first met during their senior year of high school while they were both at a Student Council State Convention. They both attended different high schools but a mutual friend introduced them both. Afterwards they connected on social media. The next fall, Samuel ended up meeting a few more friends of Allie's that became mutual friends and Allie naturally kept coming up in conversations. January of 2013 they started dating. During Labor Day weekend 2018, Allie and Sam planned a date night to go to the beer garden at Newfields. While they were walking around, Sam suggested they take the scenic route. Once they approached a bridge and stream, Sam asked Allie for her hand in marriage. She obviously said yes!

Allie and Samuel had a destination elopement with just a few of their closest family and friends on July 22, 2019. They wanted an intimate ceremony and got married in a small mountain town in Colorado where Samuel had spent a lot of time in during his childhood. Since they eloped in Colorado, they still wanted to have a laid back reception in Allie's parent's backyard for all of their friends and family. It was the perfect day! The sun was out, the weather was nice, and everyone got to celebrate Allie and Samuel's marriage!

Mauve and navy filled their reception along with greenery accents. They served BBQ for all of their guests and cupcakes for dessert. They did some of the major reception events such as cake cutting, first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance. The rest of the reception was filled with conversation, lawn games, and brews. They even had some lifeguard at their pool so people could cool off and take a dip! Instead of doing favors for their guests, Allie and Samuel will be making a donation to two of their favorite charities in their guests honor. Guests were able to choose between The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society andThe American Society for Suicide Prevention for their donations.
