Mustard Seed Gardens Noblesville Indiana Wedding: Katie & Gabe

Updated: Oct 16, 2023

Katie and Gabe are married! YAY! You may remember these two from their Forest Park engagement. (You can view that HERE.) Katie and Gabe have been together for over two years. Two of their friends set them up and took them bowling on a double date. After that day, they kept spending time together and talking and eventually became a couple. Last September, Gabe asked Katie for her hand in marriage. They were both in Hawaii for a vacation with Katie's family. While they were watching the sunset on a black sand beach, Gabe asked Katie for her hand in marriage and she said yes!

Their ceremony was held at Noblesville First United Methodist Church. This church is super special to the couple because Katie's parents and her Aunt and Uncle got married here! The couple that set them up on that bowling date, Katelyn and Matt, also were married in this church. It was the perfect venue for them! Their reception was held at the gorgeous Mustard Seed Gardens. I always love getting to photograph weddings at Mustard Seed Gardens because it really is a gorgeous and special venue! Katie and Gabe loved that they could get ready at the venue and that it had a gorgeous barn for their reception and a gorgeous outdoor area for cocktail hour.

The day of Katie and Gabe's wedding called for rain and it did rain! However, the rain stopped enough for them to get some great outdoor portraits and for them to have their cocktail hour outside! Their wedding was filled with navy and dark red accents and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. Katie and Gabe included a few unique aspects into their wedding day. They had friends read excerpts from Dr. Seuss and The Velveteen Rabbit, they had some fun yard games like Jenga and corn hole for cocktail hour, and instead of having a cake and cake cutting, they had donuts and did a donut breaking!

Enjoy a few of my favorite images from Katie and Gabe's wedding below!
