Remember Joanna & Brian from their engagement session awhile back? Well they got married last weekend and had a unique wedding that was all their own. Joanna and Brian met through mutual friends and became fast friends. After a couple years, and many tries from Brian, they finally became a couple. These two are so cute!
Their ceremony and reception was held at St. John's in downtown Lafayette. These two made their wedding completely their own. They wanted their guests to have a good time and wanted the reception to strictly be talking and hanging out with friends and family. They had a food and flower potluck and had guests bring one dish of food and some flowers. They took all the flowers that the guests brought and made centerpieces for each of the tables. With all of the food, they made a buffet and let guests pick and choose what they wanted to eat. Let me tell you, there was so much food!
These two are perfect for each other! One of my favorite parts of their wedding was their first look. Brian was so nervous and excited to see Joanna. I had him wait outside in the garden for Joanna and he literally couldn't take it. He was like "as soon as she's here, I'm running to her". And he did! He then gushed over how beautiful she looked and how awesome her dress was. (Let's just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful her dress was!)
