Local Lafayette Photographer Meet Up- Personal

Last night I had the pleasure of hosting and speaking at the local photographer meet up! This meet up was started a couple of months ago and it is so great to meet and brainstorm with all of the other Lafayette photographers. It is a place where we help, inspire, and support each other and it can not be any less awesome!

The first Tuesday of every month we will meet and discuss a certain topic. I was nominated to speak at this month's meeting and to talk about blogging. I do not consider myself a blogging expert, but it is something that I have always done throughout my career and it is something that I continue to work on and grow. We met in my office so I gathered all of the chairs from our dining room and bar to seat the 16 other photographers. It was a blast.

I have never really spoken in public or in front of my photography peers so it was certainly nerve-racking! However, it went well. People were asking questions and at the end one of the photogs came up and showed me her notebook of questions and told me that I answered all of them!
