Meet the ever-so-adorable Karen and Jason! Karen and Jason have been together for a whopping 14 years! When I first spoke with Karen she said that their family never thought that they would ever get married since they have been together for so long and figured that they would just continue being together without a wedding. After some thought, they decided that they should go ahead and tie the knot that way all of their family would be able to see the union. Karen and Jason met 14 years ago at a bar in St. Louis, where they current live. They hit it off and have been together ever since.
Jason's grandfather and parents are from Franklin, Indiana and his grandfather still lives there. His grandfather used to work at Franklin United Methodist Community as a Reverend and once he retired, him and his wife moved in. Karen and Jason both wanted Jason's grandfather to officiate the wedding so they decided to have the wedding ceremony at the community! How special and sweet is that!!!!! They didn't want anything too big, just something small and intimate with their immediate families.
With their immediate family looking on and their grandfather officiating, their ceremony was extremely special and sweet. After their ceremony, we went to Blue Heron Park for their couple portraits which was the perfect location! Instead of having a reception, Karen and Jason made their way to Morton's Steakhouse after their couple portraits for a family dinner with everyone who attended their ceremony. Tomorrow, they will be holding a big party at their house for all of their friends and family to celebrate them tying the knot!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their wedding below!
