Wedding days are huge and there are a lot of moving parts and people that make weddings happen. You will research many different vendors for your wedding and sometimes it's hard to figure out who exactly is best for you. These 5 tips will hopefully help a bit.
1. Decide what vendors are the most important for you.
Before you start looking for vendors you need to decide what vendors are most important to you. Some couples prioritize their wedding photographer others want to make sure they have a DJ that can keep the party going all night. It doesn't matter which vendors you find to be the most important but it is important to pick them. This will allow you to make sure that your budget is allocated correctly so you can reach out to the correct vendors.
2. Research, research, research.
Once you have narrowed down your top vendors, now it's time to find those vendors! Do lots of research on the different vendors so you can find one that fits your needs perfectly. Places like The Knot, Wedding Wire, and Facebook can be great since you can read reviews from other couples. If you can't find reviews on vendors that you like, ask them for referrals so you can get reviews.
3. Make sure your personalities mesh well.
Although not all of your wedding vendors will be with you all day on your wedding day, the majority of them will. You will want to make sure that your personalities mesh well so you can be sure that you will get along on the wedding day. Don't be afraid to choose another vendor if something just feels off.
4. Trust your gut.
This should be true with your whole wedding day, trust your gut. If something is telling you that a vendor may not be right for you or if something is telling you that a vendor is perfect then listen to that! Oftentimes, your first impression is correct.
5. Trust your hired vendors.
Once you have decided on a vendor and have booked them on your wedding day, it is now your time to sit back and relax! Put your trust into your vendors and let them make your vision a reality.
