Whitney and DJ got married on Saturday and it was gorgeous! You may remember these two from their Battlefield Park engagement session in June! (You can view that HERE.) These two are super adorable and are so much in love! They have been together as a couple for over 3 years. DJ proposed to Whitney in April while they were at home. They were playing one of their favorite games and DJ "dropped" a piece of the game on the floor and that's when he asked Whitney for her hand in marriage. Such a cute proposal!
Whitney and DJ held their ceremony at Weaver Chapel in West Lafayette, Indiana. Weaver Chapel is a quaint white chapel from the 1800's. Their reception was held in a tent in DJ's parent's backyard. They wanted a backyard wedding that would be fun for all their guests and their wedding was just that! It was rustic and unique and was filled with yard games. Their wedding had a ton of DIY elements that provided the perfect decor for their wedding. They made a ton of signs for their reception, did all the florals, and Whitney even made all of the cupcakes! All the unique DIY elements provided a perfect touch for their wedding.
