Ashley and Tom are married!!!!! You may remember these two from their engagement session at Newfields (formerly known as IMA). You can view that HERE. Ashley and Tom first met at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana in August of 2013 in one of their first education classes. They didn't notice each other at first but finally became friends and started dating. Tom ended up proposing in 2015 while they were in downtown Indianapolis for the Circle of Lights. It was a rainy, cold night, but it was perfect! They even found some firemen who took some photos of the proposal for them!
Ashley and Tom tied the knot on Saturday at St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Indianapolis. They held their ceremony in the church and their reception in the Parish Life Center. The church is special to the couple because it is Tom's childhood parish and they both loved the church and the community there. One thing that made their wedding special was that it was sandwiched in-between both of their parent's wedding anniversaries. They didn't realize that it happened when they choose their wedding date but it made their wedding even more special! Ashley's parents are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary and Tom's parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Ashley and Tom surprised their parents by having two additional wedding cakes made, one for each set of parents with a photo from their wedding day on it!
Their wedding was filled with their closest friends and family. With a rustic but semi-formal theme filled with Iris, Wisteria, Lapis, and Gray details it was an affair to remember. After their wedding we went to Marian University to get some couple portraits on the campus where they met. We including in some areas that they frequented as a couple and ended with a photo in front of the football field, where they had their first date!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their wedding below!
Ashley and Tom: I hope you are having a BLAST on your honeymoon! Your wedding was spectacular and I'm so glad that I was able to document your big day!
