The lovely Amy and Justin are married!!!! You may remember Amy and Justin from their Avon Garden's engagement session. (You can view that HERE.) Amy and Justin have been together for quite some time now. They first met around 10 years ago through Justin's cousin who was also Amy's sorority sister. After being friends for awhile they finally realized they were perfect for each other and started dating. Fast forward about 6 years later to December 23, 2015 (23 is Amy's favorite number) and Justin proposed to Amy while they were at the Indianapolis Speedway seeing the Christmas Tree lights! Amy of course said yes!
Amy and Justin tied the knot on Saturday and their wedding was perfect! They held their ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Justin's parent's and grandparent's were both married at the church so it was the perfect location for them to say their 'I Do's'! They were excited to not only get married there but tie in their Catholic faith and traditions into their ceremony and have their favorite Priest and Deacon officiate the wedding.
They held their reception at the Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway, Indiana. They love that Indianapolis is the racing capital of the world and wanted to incorporate that into their wedding. The Dallara Factory was the perfect location since it not only showcases some of the race cars but also is a museum that tells some of the history. They had a ton of purple accents throughout their wedding since purple is Amy's favorite color. They also included in a few more of their favorite things into the cupcakes that they had for their guests. They had Pacer themed cupcakes since they are both fans and attend games together, Veteran themed cupcakes to honor the Veteran's who attended the wedding, racing themed cupcakes for their love of the Indianapolis Speedway, Lyre "dreamcake" cupcakes for Amy's sorority Alpha Chi Omega, and more!
Enjoy some of my favorite images from their wedding day below!
