Elizabeth and Doug are married!!! You will remember these two from their Carmel, Indiana engagement session last year. (You can view that HERE.) Elizabeth and Doug first met in January 2019 at the church they both attend, Colfax Christian Church. Doug had been a member of the church for awhile and Elizabeth had recently joined the church. Elizabeth was passing out programs one day and when Doug saw her he instantly knew that he needed to talk to her. They hit it off and have been together ever since! They got engaged last September and their proposal story is super cute. Doug was buying a house and took Elizabeth and Lacie out to the house once he closed on the house. Doug's realtor always takes a photo in front of the house with a Sold sign and he knew that it would be a perfect opportunity to propose. He purchased the house hoping to make it a home for the three of them. While the three of them were posing for a photo, Doug dropped to his knee and asked Elizabeth to marry him!

Elizabeth and Doug tied the knot at the gorgeous Willow Creek Barn in Frankfort, Indiana. They were a bit afraid at first that they may have to postpone their wedding due to COVID-19 but they lucked out and were able to stick to their original wedding date of June 6th. Elizabeth always wanted a rustic wedding and Doug knew the owners of Willow Creek so they knew it would be the perfect place for their wedding. Their wedding was filled with rustic details and a purple and gray color palette. It was the perfect day and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family.
