Natalie and Tim had a gorgeous socially distance compliant wedding! Natalie and Tim first met online through eHarmony. They hit it off and had their first date in Indianapolis and went to the Lincoln Square Pancake House and walked along the canal. They continued to hit it off and have been together ever since. Tim proposed to Natalie by taking her on a walk along the canal, just like their first date. She of course said yes!
Natalie and Tim planned their big day for March 29, 2020 and were excited to share the day with their friends and family. We all know COVID happened and their big celebration would no longer be able to happen on their wedding date. They didn't want to have to wait to officially tie the knot so they gathered up their immediate family members and had a small elopement on their original date at their family church. This allowed them to get married on March 29th and comply with social distancing at the same time.
They still wanted to have the big wedding with all of their friends and family so they set a new date for July 12, 2020 where they would have a small vow renewal and then a big reception. Since COVID is still a concern, they decided to split their reception into two parts. One where masks would be required and people would stay 6 feet apart so their family and friends who were at risk would be able to be there and celebrate without having to be concerned about the virus as much. The second half of their reception had masks as being optional and was open house style so their friends and family could come and go as they pleased to limit the amount of people in the venue at a time. They spread out all of their reception events so that regardless of when guests decided to arrive, they would be able to participate and see some of the major reception events.
Their wedding was filled with navy and yellow accents and was filled with lots of love!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their big day below!
