December 11, 2019

The 2020 Pantone Color of the Year has been announced!  It is Classic Blue 19-4052!  It's such a great color and works perfectly for weddings!  If you want to incorporate Classic Blue into your 2020 wedding then this blog is for you!  Below are just a couple ideas of how to include Classic Blue into your wedding.

Wedding Party Attire

If you want to incorporate Classic Blue into your whole wedding in a big way, then an easy way to start is by starting with your wedding party's attire.  Bridesmaids can wear dresses in the color and groomsmen can wear vests, ties, or bowties that feature the color. You maybe you want to wear the color in your suit or incorporate it into your something blue!

Bouquet and Florals

Maybe you don't want to have a full out Classic Blue color palette but you still want to include it into your wedding in some capacity.  If that's the case then your florals are an easy way to to that!  You can easily add in flowers that are close to the Classic Blue color in your bouquet, boutonnieres, and any other florals.  You can either use the color as your main color, incorporate in a few flowers with the color, or even have the ribbon around your stems feature Classic Blue.

Signage and Escort Cards

Classic Blue can be so pretty as a watercolor and it's easy to add in touches of that into your wedding day signage, escort cards, or table numbers.

Cake and Desserts

You don't have to have a cake completely in the Classic Blue color but you can easily add in a few accents in that color or use floral in that color on or around your cake.

Ceremony Decor

You can use Classic Blue in your ceremony florals, chair sashes, drapery and more!

Reception Decor

Classic Blue could be your linen or napkin color.  Centerpieces, menus, table numbers, etc can all feature Classic Blue.  There are a lot of ways you can use Classic Blue in your reception decor!

Invitations and Favors

Depending on what you are going to do for guest favors, you may be able to include Classic Blue in your favors as well! Classic Blue is also a classic (see what I did there) color so it can work perfect for your invitations as well!

And Lots More!

There are so many ways that you can incorporate Classic Blue into your wedding.  You can have a full on Classic Blue color palette or you can just incorporate a few touches.  Find what is best for you!
