It's time for the Behind The Scenes blog for 2022!!!! I know this is one of your favorite blogs because you get a glimpse into what I do behind the scenes on wedding days! I suck at taking behind the scene images, I'm always so busy photographing my couple's gorgeous weddings, but I have a few images for you!
2022 was an amazing year for me! Jasmine Norris Photography was published over 60 times and won 20 different awards, I photographed so many adorable couples in love, I was able to teach a master class at WPPI all about getting published as a wedding photographer, I was able to photograph Indiana Fashion Week, Eric and I GOT MARRIED and went on a few fun vacations, and so much more!
First let's start with the behind the scene images!
I'm ALWAYS fluffing the wedding dress and make sure it looks it's best!
Veils also need some fluffing sometimes!
And for that pretty blowing veil photo, there is always a person making that happen behind the scenes....
Sometimes, the veil has a mind of it's own and decides to fly in it's own way... But don't worry, I'm a pro at putting them back in!
I'm also there to adjust your flowers....
Pin on your boutonnieres...
And just make sure you, your attire, and your wedding party always looks your best!
I'm also there to step in to button a dress or fix a bustle.
And will walk you through how to cut your cake.
Sometimes I may find myself in mirrors...
I'm always there for all the animal pets and to make sure you don't fall!
We're always making sure the light looks great on your wedding day so there are so many testing the light photos!
And sometimes my couples like to make faces while I test the light on an engagement session!
And sometimes a passerby may walk through a shot but that's okay, we will wait for them to move!

I started the year off getting to photograph the house dedication for Marine LCpl Bryan Chambers for Homes for our Troops. Homes for our Troops build and donate specially adapted custom homes for severely injured veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. It was an honor being able to donate my services in this way.
I got to speak at WPPI again this year! I LOVE getting to share my knowledge with other photographers and help their business grow!
Eric and I had some engagement photos done.
I was the lead photographer for Indiana Fashion Week again this year! It's always a blast getting to combine my love of fashion and photography!
I was beyond honored to be a Stevie Award recipient again this year!
I also was awarded 15 other awards this year like The Knot Best of Weddings, WeddingWire's Couples' Choice Awards, Best of Lafayette, and more!
Some of you may know that Eric and I got married this year! We eloped in Mackinac and it was just perfect!
We also did some fun little vacations. Like to Indy for a weekend at Bottleworks.
And a few days in Chicago where we ate lots of pizza and went to a Michelin Star restaurant!
We went to a couple concerts.
And of course went to the Carmel Christkindlmarkt!
We also adopted Mr. Wendell! We found him abandoned outside and took him to the shelter to be taken care of. Unfortunately, no one claimed or adopted this sweet boy and we couldn't bear to see him stay in the shelter so we officially adopted him!
And we went to more baseball games than I can count!
