It's time for the Behind The Scenes blog for 2023!!!! I know this is one of your favorite blogs because you get a glimpse into what I do behind the scenes on wedding days! I suck at taking behind the scene images, I'm always so busy photographing my couple's gorgeous weddings, but I have a few images for you!
2023 was an amazing year for me! Jasmine Norris Photography was published over 25 times and won 15 different awards, I photographed so many adorable couples in love, I was able to photograph Indiana Fashion Week, Eric and I a few fun vacations, and so much more!
First let's start with the behind the scene images!
I'm always there to help you keep your dress clean while walking.
I'm also known as the master of fluffing dresses.
Besides taking photos and dress fluffing, I'm always on hand to help where needed. Maybe that's helping with a bridesmaid's zipper, helping with a bustle, or pinning on boutonnieres; I'll lend a helping hand.
Those gorgeous photos of veils or dresses blowing in the wind? Those happen with some help! Either by my second photographer or by a wedding party member (and sometimes the get-a-way car driver)!
I'm always making sure your details look their best for photos.
Sometimes there are some outtakes like a bug flying in your face.
Sometimes I capture my couples being funny and sticking out their tongue. Or your dog will stick theirs out at me!
AND here is the lovely Aly and Connor who made it a point to make a funny face while I was testing the light during their engagement session! So here are the Aly and Connor outtakes! haha
And now, here are some personal photos for you!
Eric and I took a little belated honeymoon to French Lick! We stayed at West Baden Springs and really enjoyed some relaxation! We did all the things, including the sulfur bath!
I also got Eric a private meet and greet with two giraffes while we were there! His favorite animal is a giraffe and he had never met one in person.
It was certainly a highlight of the trip, I mean, just look at his smile!
I participated in a couple open houses at some of my favorite venues.
I was also the lead photographer for Indiana Fashion Week again this year and it was a blast like always!
Took a super quick trip to Vegas to go to WPPI for a day and compete the the ProPrints First Invitational Legends Professional Photography Competition!
Got to take some amazing images including this one that was featured on Vogue!
Eric and I went to numerous games this year! Lots of Purdue Women's Basketball and lots of baseball games!
We did a trip to Davenport.
And continued on the tradition of staying at Bottleworks on our anniversary!
I did some podcast interviews.
And got to be a career mentor for Purdue's Focus Forward Fellowship!
Eric and I took an acrylic class.
And we had some family visit and got to celebrate Eric's Grandma with her Legends of Howard County induction!
Eric and I rescued Tabs, an outdoor kitty we found abandoned. We fostered him until we found him a new family. He was the sweetest and I miss him!
I got to celebrate the Pattern Magazine Vol. 24 launch with some of my images from Indiana Fashion Week featured.
We did lots of moon and star gazing and Jasmine Norris Photography won several awards this year.
And lastly, Eric and I ate our weight in EMT Food Truck. It's our guilty pleasure!
