Carmel Indiana Proposal at Peace Water Winery: Zach & Claire

Zach and Claire are engaged! These two first met in high school and have been together since they were 16! They knew that after all these years that it was time to take the next step and were talking about their plans for marriage. While they both knew a proposal would be in their future, Zach still wanted to surprise Claire with the proposal. He came up with the perfect plan!

We met up at Peace Water Winery in Carmel, Indiana for their proposal. Zach had worked out all the detail with Peace Water, myself, and a couple of Claire's friends. The plan was that Claire would be meeting two of her friends for drinks at the winery. When Claire arrived at the winery, we had a table reservered for her in her friends name. Her friends then texted to let her know that they were running late and told her to go ahead and order a bottle. After she ordered a bottle, Zach came out with the bottle and then asked her for her hand in marriage. Claire, of course, said yes!

We were a bit worried about the winery being too busy or it being too obvious that I was there but it worked out perfectly! Peace Water Winery had a band that night, Claire Arrivo (different Claire haha), and I was able to just pretend like I was there to photograph her and some bottles of wine. It also wasn't too busy for the exact time of the proposal and the folks who were out on the back patio were all made aware of the proposal and were so excited to see the moment (if you look closely in some of the photos one of the dogs, Luna, was very excited to watch). It was the perfect proposal.

Afterwards, we took some photos around the winery and Main Street.
