Meet the adorable Joey and Kiersten! These two are high school sweethearts and have been together for over six years! They hit it off in high school and knew that they were perfect for each other. After high school they both went to different colleges and spent their college years in a long distance relationship. Once they both graduated college they moved to Carmel, Indiana together and are happy that they no longer have to travel to see each other!
Kiersten and Joey have both talked about the future and knew that a wedding would be in their future. Since they have graduated college and are now in the same location, it was the perfect time for them to get engaged. Joey contacted me a month prior to the proposal to inquire about having the proposal photographed. We chatted for a bit and once he picked the perfect date and location, we finalized all the details about where the proposal would happen and where I would hide. Joey choose Coxhall Gardens since it was in Carmel and was a gorgeous location. We lucked out with the weather because it was a gorgeous day and Coxhall Gardens was fairly empty during the time of the proposal so everything worked out perfectly!
Once they arrived to Coxhall Gardens, Joey took Kiersten on a walk and when they arrived to the centerpiece area, Joey dropped to one knee and asked Kiersten to marry him! Kiersten said yes! After they had a bit of time to celebrate together, Joey pointed me out to Kiersten and then we walked around the park for a bit taking some couple portraits to celebrate their engagement!
