Do You Need To Rent Additional Restrooms For Your Wedding: Wedding Wednesday

Do You Need To Rent Additional Restrooms For Your Wedding Indiana Wedding Photographer Photography

Most venues come with restrooms and you don't necessarily have to worry about renting restrooms for your wedding. However, if you are having an outdoor or barn wedding, then you may need to rent restrooms for your guests. But how many do you need to rent?

How Many Restrooms Do You Need

How many restrooms do you really need? This is the biggest question when it comes to renting restrooms for your wedding day. A good standard is to have at least two restrooms per 100 guests.

Where To Place The Restrooms

Where should you place the restrooms at your wedding? You will want them placed in a place that is easy to access for your guests but also that's out of the way for portraits or any other special events. Consider your elder guests or guests that may be in a wheelchair to make suer they will be able to access the restroom.

Porta-Johns or Luxury Restrooms

Porta-johns may be a bit cheaper but if the thought of using them at your wedding makes your cringe, then you may want to consider one of the luxury restroom trailers. They aren't as expensive as you think and will usually offer multiple restrooms, air-conditioning, mirrors, and running water. These will make you and your guests feel a bit more comfortable. Again, make sure you consider an accessible option as well for any guests who may need it.

How To Fit Them Into Your Decor

Portable restrooms may not be the prettiest but there are some things that you can do to spruce them up. Place a decorated table close by where guests can set their drinks, place a floral arrangement or amenity basket inside, or go all out and have your wedding planner drape the restroom so it fits in better with your wedding theme.
