You may remember Angela and Dennis from their Civil Ceremony last month. (You can view that HERE.) These two have been together since 2018 and met while Angela was visiting a friend in Chicago who happened to be Dennis' cousin. They hit it off right away. Last September Dennis asked Angela to marry him while they were both visiting a National Park in North Carolina. They were hiking on a trail and Dennis asked Angela to marry him. She said yes!
Angela and Dennis will be having a big wedding in May in Carmel, Indiana but they didn't want to have to wait to officially become married so they had a Civil Ceremony at the courthouse in Lafayette, Indiana last month with just their parents in attendance. We were originally planning to do some engagement style photos before their civil ceremony but Mother Nature decided that it should pour that day. I documented their civil ceremony and then we decided to reschedule their engagement style portraits for another day.
We met up in downtown Lafayette, Indiana for their engagement portraits on Tuesday and although the weather looked great, it quickly decided to rain! Angela and Dennis were troopers though and we were able to get some great portraits in in-between the rain showers.
