Hannah and Andrew tied the knot on Saturday! You may remember these two from their engagement session at the Indianapolis Canal. Hannah and Andrew first met back in 2011 while they were both attending IUPUI. They both ended up in student government and on the same committee. They became fast friends and on May 3, 2012, just 7 months after meeting they decided that they should start dating. Everything ended up working out perfectly because 4 years later, Andrew proposed. Andrew took Hannah out to a balcony that overlooks Indianapolis while they were in town for a conference. That balcony was where they met for the first time. He asked her for her hand in marriage and she of course said yes!
They held their ceremony and reception at the lovely Palomino Ballroom in Zionsville, Indiana. They both loved that Palomino was a one stop location with catering, bar service, and an event coordinator. Plus they fell in love with the beautiful location, floor to ceiling windows, and all the special touches. It was the perfect location for their wedding!
Their wedding was filled with gold and green details and lots of greenery. They wanted to have a rustic, romantic, and elegant wedding and they did just that! They had some wood signage to highlight the wood and stone of the venue and tons of candles and greenery to add in some romance. They also threw in some gold sequin touches to tie everything together. It was beautiful.
Some of the special touches during their wedding were that they had one of their friends be the officiant, they wrote their own vows, they had a wine box ceremony and wrote special letters, and they tied in their love for popcorn with a popcorn bar at the end of the night!
Enough of my ramblings, enjoy some of my favorite images from their wedding below!
Hannah and Andrew: It was an honor being a part of your big day! You both are amazing and I know you will have a long, happy life ahead of you!
