Clinton and Karl's wedding celebration is here! You may remember these two from their White River State Park "engagement" session earlier this year. (You can view that HERE.) Clinton and Karl have been together for over eight years and first met while they were both at IUPUI. They hit it off and have been together ever since! Fast forward to after graduation and they moved to Cincinnati. The weekend they moved they took some time to walk along the Purple People Bridge and while they were in-between Cincinnati and Kentucky, Karl asked Clinton for his hand in marriage. Clinton obviously said yes! November 2020 Clinton and Karl got married. Due to COVID, they had a small elopement and postponed their big wedding day.
On Saturday, Clinton and Karl had their big wedding celebration and it was perfect! They held their celebration at The Rathskeller in Indianapolis, Indiana. When Clinton and Karl got married, they chose to take Kilgore as their family name after their love of Kurt Vonnegut's character Kilgore Trout. Vonnegut's grandfather was one of the architects for the Athenaeum which is where The Rathskeller is now housed. By the bar, there is even a portrait of Kilgore Trout by Kurt Vonnegut! This made The Rathskeller the perfect place for them to hold their wedding celebration! They filled their wedding with a Cherry Blossom vibe and lots of pinks and sage green. They will be honeymooning in Japan and thought this would be the perfect theme for them! You will also see that they brought along their fursuits for some portraits and to dance the night away during the reception!
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their wedding celebration below!
Clinton and Karl: It was a pleasure meeting and working with you both! You make the perfect couple and I know you have a lifetime filled with love and happiness ahead of you! I hope you are both having a blast in Japan!
