Jacki and Jim are married! You may remember these two from their North Avenue Beach Chicago, Illinois engagement. (You can view that HERE.) Jacki and Jim first met in 2016 on Match.com. Jim messaged Jacki first asking her which Olympic event was more fun to watch, swimming or gymnastics! After awhile they realized that they both graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Chemical Engineering. They never ended up meeting while at Purdue since they were in different graduating classes. Needless to say, they hit it off and have been together ever since.
Jim proposed to Jacki while they were vacationing in Cancun in November 2017. Jim set up a dinner on the beach for the two of them and drew a heart around the table. They ate dinner and watched the waves come in. After they ate their salad and before the main course came, the sun was setting and Jim asked Jacki if she wanted to walk down to the water to watch the sunset. When they got there, Jim got on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She of course said yes!
Jacki and Jim tied the knot on Saturday. They held their ceremony at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lafayette, Indiana. That church is where Jim attended while growing up so it made perfect sense for them. They also loved the original woodwork from the 1860's that is present throughout the church. Their reception was at Ross Ade Stadium on Purdue University's campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. Since they both are Purdue grads, love attending football games together as a couple, and both come from die hard Purdue fan families, it was the perfect reception location.
Their wedding was filled with raspberry and gold details and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was truly a wedding to remember. They ended the night with sparklers and the Boilermaker Special (one of Purdue's Mascots) which was provided as their get-a-way vehicle from a family member.
Enjoy some of my favorite images from their wedding below!
Jacki and Jim: I hope you are both having a blast in Hawaii. Enjoy your honeymoon! Thank you so much for having me be a part of your big day, it was an honor working with you both!
