Booking a wedding photographer is a big task on your wedding planning list! You want to make sure you have a photographer that's a great fit for you and your wedding. Below are a few FAQ's with answers that will give you a better insight into Jasmine Norris Photography and if I'm the photographer for you!

What is your photography style?

I am a light and airy photographer that is also true to color! I focus on providing you with gorgeous, timeless images that will be treasured. My goal is to photograph your wedding day authentically with a focus on the all the joyful and romantic moments that a wedding brings. Your wedding images will capture your wedding in the best way possible.

How many photos will I receive?

The amount of photos you will receive does depend on the wedding, but on average, you can expect to receive around 50-60 images per hour of coverage. On average, an 8 hour wedding will receive around 1,000 images.

For engagement sessions, you can expect to receive around 100 images.

What is your turnaround time for delivering the photos?

I know you want your images and I aim to deliver them to you fast!

For wedding days, you will see a sneak peek the day after your wedding and a blog post of highlights within the week. Your full gallery will hit your inbox within 4 weeks.

Can I see a full wedding gallery of a previous client?

Of course! It's always a good idea to see a full gallery to get a better feel for a photographers style. Send me an email (jasmine@jasminenorris.com) and let me know your wedding venue and date. I can then send over a couple of galleries from weddings that match your venue and vision. I always like to send over galleries that match your wedding because sending a gallery from an outdoor ceremony if you are having a church ceremony may not be the most helpful!

Do you offer engagement sessions?

YES! Engagement sessions are complimentary with The Wedding Collection! It's a great way for us to work together before the wedding day and give you some gorgeous images to celebrate the engagement portion of your love story.

If you aren't interested in booking The Wedding Collection, I also offer engagement sessions on their own.

How many photographers will be shooting my wedding?

I will always be there photographing your wedding day! You also have the option to add on a second photographer to your wedding package.

What is included in your packages?

How do you handle the post-production process?

After the wedding is when all the post production happens! As soon as I get home from your wedding, I immediately back up your wedding images to make sure everything is safe and secure. I will them start the editing process and make sure every images looks its best. I hand edit every single image to make sure it's exactly how I envision and perfect. Once your gallery is delivered, we will then work on your dream wedding album design!

What is your backup plan in case of equipment failure or other emergencies on the wedding day?

I have a full contingency plan to make sure my couples are taken care of in all worst case scenarios. For wedding days, I always bring along a full set of equipment so if a camera malfunctions or I drop or break and lens or flash, then I can easily switch them out and continue on photographing your wedding without a hitch. I also always shoot with dual memory cards, one memory card will be backing up the other memory card at all times. This limits any chance of memory card corruption. Once your wedding is done, I immediately back up your wedding images so everything is safe.

Will you be the photographer shooting my wedding, or will it be someone else?

YES! I will always be the one photographing your wedding! If you choose to add on a second photographer, then it will be myself and another member of my team but I will always be the main photographer for your wedding day!

Will you help us with posing and direction on the day of the wedding?

Of course! 99.9% of couples are nervous when it comes to posing and that's normal. Most couples haven't had professional images since their senior photos. I will walk you through everything so there is no need to stress! I'll make sure you look your best and will walk you through all poses.

How many hours of coverage are included in your packages?

The Wedding Collection includes 8 hours of wedding day coverage. You can also add on additional hours if you think you will need more time.

The Elopement Collections start at 1 hour of elopement coverage.
