Jennifer and Alex, where to begin with these two! I have known Alex for most of my life. We went to school together, he was a year younger than me and his brother was a year older than me. We were all involved in band/choir so we spent a lot of time together. After I graduated I started traveling for my jobs and had not seen a lot of people from my childhood. When Jennifer and Alex got engaged, Jennifer sent me an email inquiring about wedding photography and I was thrilled! It's always great to be able to document a big day for someone you know.
I had not met Jennifer until their engagement session and in that quick amount of time I knew her and Alex were perfect for each other. They compliment each other well and they have a lot of fun! Jennifer wanted a Cinderella Fairy Tale wedding and she got it! From her dress to her tiara, her clear heels to the Cinderella cake topper, the cinderella heel favor holders to the love that emitted from all the guests. Her Maid Of Honor, Emma, said it best during her toast "Jennifer and Alex's love is better than any fairy tale because it is real."
Jennifer and Alex's wedding was beautiful! AND it was a tear jerker! Watching Alex's face as Jennifer started walking down the aisle was great. Jennifer later told me that she told Alex that if he didn't cry when she walked down the aisle, she was walking right back out the church! haha There was no need for that because as soon as Alex laid eyes on Jennifer the tears started along with a "Oh my gosh, she is so beautiful!" Jennifer's dad passed away awhile back so instead of the father/daughter dance she has a dance with her uncle in remembrance. Her uncle made a quick speech before the dance saying how proud her dad would be of her and let me tell you, I was tearing up behind my camera!
Jennifer and Alex's wedding was filled with family, friends, and love and those are the perfect combination for a beautiful wedding.
Oh, and can we talk about how Jennifer made all the bouquets/boutonnieres! Plus Alex's mother made the arrangements in the church.
Enough of my ramblings. View some of my favorite's below!
Jennifer & Alex: I wish you all the best!!!!! You deserve a lifetime of love and happiness and I can not wait to see your little girl! <3
