We've all been to the wedding where everything is behind schedule by 30 minutes to an hour or even longer! Weddings can get behind very easily. Everything from traffic to your makeup/hair taking longer than expected to something simple like having to go back to grab your bouquet can make your schedule off by at least a few minutes which then throws your whole timeline off. If you have more than one of these little occurrences happen, then you risk having your schedule become really behind. If you run too far behind schedule then you risk running into a problem where your vendors services may be ending or that you run out of time to spend the time needed on things like your couple portraits.
The simplest and easiest way to ensure that you stay on track and on time is to add in buffer time throughout the day! By adding in 5-10 extra minutes throughout your timeline will help you catch back up if you do fall behind. AND if you don't fall behind, then you can use that time to take a much needed breather and relax for a few minutes. It's a win, win!
