It's time for the Behind The Scenes blog for 2025! I know this is one of your favorite blogs because you get a glimpse into what I do behind the scenes on wedding days! I suck at taking behind the scene images, I'm always so busy photographing my couple's gorgeous weddings, but I have a few images for you!
2025 was an amazing year for me! Jasmine Norris Photography was published multiple times and won 25 different awards, I photographed so many adorable couples in love, I got to write a story for Lafayette, Indiana's Bicentennial Book, Eric and I went on a few fun vacations, and so much more!
First let's start with the behind the scene images!
I'm always too busy focusing on photographing my couples that I don't always get a lot of behind the scenes images but here are a few of me in action.
I always love getting to see the look on my couple's faces when they get to see some back of the camera sneak peeks!

I'm always there to make sure you look your best!

I'll always give you directions so you know exactly what you are doing.

The photo on the right cracks me up! It was an outdoor elopement and the forecast called for lots of rain. I came prepared with rainboots, 3 umbrellas, a camera rain jacket, and a rain jacket for me and, luckily, it didn't rain one bit!

I participated in a few fun wedding shows!

Got to take a class on lighting with the wonderful Jerry Ghonis!

Attended WPPI in Vegas to continue learning and improving my photography skills and of course got a headshot from Peter Hurley's Headshot Crew!

FINALLY got to go to the Neon Museum in Vegas!!! And got to shoot an amazing editorial for Southern Bride at the Neon Museum and at Aria!

Exhibited a couple of my eclipse photos at The Beyond Gallery and one sold!

Supported Eric with his art exhibitions this year!

Got a photo with the lovely Sheila Klinker while I was photographing a gala and got to judge the local Sunburst pageant.

Became a Destination Insider for Lafayette, Indiana and I got to give a presentation on the Taylor Steffen Company and their contribution to fashion and starting the senior cord trend.

I also wrote a story on the Taylor Steffen Company and senior cords for the book "200 Years of Tippecanoe County" that was released for Lafayette's Bicentennial.

Enjoyed lots of yummy food like my favorite Lafayette Mexican restaurant, El Rodeo. Got my first mirrorless camera so I can keep providing the best experiences for my couples (I'm not 100% sold on mirrorless yet but I'm slowly implementing it). Sent Eric and I's photo to space with CrunchLabs satellite!

Speaking of food, I ate at EMT Food Truck more times than I can count!

Got to see one of my favs, Death By Stereo, when they came through Indy.

Eric and I went on a few fun vacations and vacations mean lots of roadside attractions.

We got to tour Budweiser and I took Eric to eat his first Wellington at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant (he's a huge fan).

Eric had never been to the St. Louis arch so went took a trip to St. Louis and stayed at a hotel that was literally right outside the arch with these amazing views!

Also took a little trip to Cincinnati!

We also went to many baseball games, at Purdue and the Lafayette Aviators, and we went to our first hockey game!

We saved Mr. Troubadour after our neighbors threw him outside and my dad ended up adopting him.

More food, like the best chips and salsa in the world at Hacienda! And The Whittaker Inn who has amazing food!

Eric and I did our tradition of the .1K St. Patrick's Day race and of course going to Carmel Christkindlmarkt!

I also had a suspicion that there were boarded up servant stairs in our home so we fianlly busted through a wall to see and found them (now we just have to officially open them up)! The right selfie was from New Years Eve 2024 and the start at of 2025!

And that's a wrap for 2025, bring on 2026
