Tulip Days Proposal at Exploration Acres Lafayette Indiana: Eddie & Emily

Meet the adorable Eddie and Emily! These two got engaged at the end of April at Exploration Acre's Tulip Days!

Eddie reached out to me a couple weeks prior to when he wanted to set up the proposal to see if I was available and to let me know his plans for the proposal. Emily is a big fan of flowers and when he saw that Exploration Acres in Lafayette, Indiana was having a Tulip Days this year, he knew it would be the perfect location to ask for her hand in marriage.

We met up at Exploration Acres on a Saturday afternoon under the guise that we were going to do couple portraits. Eddie and I had come up with a code phrase that I'd use when we were in a good spot for him to propose during the session. We started off the session doing normal couple portraits and then when I got them to an area with good light and less people, I said the code phrase and Eddie asked Emily for her hand in marriage! Emily obviously said yes! Tulip Days was packed this Saturday afternoon but luckily everyone stayed out of the background once they realized a proposal was happening so thank you to anyone who was there that day!

Once the happy couple had some time to celebrate their propsal, we went around and did engagement portraits for them! It was the perfect day!
