Jade and Derek are married! YAY! You may remember these two from their engagement session in downtown Elkhart, Indiana. (You can view that HERE.) These two first met online back in Devember of 2022. They hit it off right away and scheduled a first date at The Jackson Rooftop that just opened in Elkhart. Since it was a cold evening, they were the only couple there which allowed them to deep dive into conversation and make friends with the bartender who became an integral part of their relationship. Fast forward to June 22, 2024 and Derek asked Jade for her hand in marriage while they were having a housewarming party at their new house. They loved getting to celebrate their proposal (and new home) with all of their friends and family!

They held their wedding on Saturday at Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart, Indiana. They loved that they could have their ceremony amongst the flowers and then be able to have their reception inside with air conditioning (and did they appreciate that air conditioning because we has 100 degree temps!). Their wedding was full of timeless details and bold summer colors like blue, pink, red, yellow, purples, greens, and more! They really made their wedding their own. Their ceremony was officiated by Derek's father, they wrote their own vows, their music was thoughtfully chosen instrumental songs that are classical interpretations of modern songs for Derek's love of music, Jade did a first look with all 3 of her dads, and their dog Rafiki was the ring bearer! Their reception was all about celebration with choreographed dances, a character artist, great food and drinks, and lots of laughter and dancing.
