Some of you may know that I am one of the lead photographers for Indiana Fashion Week (INDFW) this year. Indiana Fashion Week had its first year in 2019 and was the brain child of Dlang Ferguson and Michael Weston to put Indiana on the map and join the other Fashion Weeks. I helped out in 2019 since I love fashion and it was a great way to combine my love for fashion with my love for photography. Last year, INDFW was cancelled due to COVID so this will be the official second year. I'm so excited that the team asked me to come on board as a lead photographer this year and I can not wait for the event on August 21st! If you love fashion and want to support some amazing local designers, you must check it out!
INDFW does several shoots leading up the show each year and this year they partnered with the Indiana State Fair for one of their shoots. They asked me to come along and photograph this shoot, along with the other lead photographer Dauss Miller. It was a blast! We started out the shoot with the hot air balloon launch! Unfortunately, it was windy that morning and the balloons weren't cleared to be launched but they were able to inflate 3 of the balloons and have them tethered to the ground. After the balloon launch, we ventured into the midway for some photos with outfit number two. Then we got the models into outfit number 3 and took some photos with the new two story carousel! It's gorgeous!
