Newfields Proposal Indianapolis Indiana: Thomas & Tiffany

Thomas and Tiffany are engaged! These two have been together for quite some time now and had been talking about an engagement and wedding, Tiffany even helped pick out the ring. However, for the actual proposal, they wanted to try to make it a surprise and Thomas did just that!
Thomas reached out to me about doing the proposal on June 27th, which happened to be Tiffany's birthday. They had plans to go to a baseball game in Indianapolis with their friends and he thought an afternoon proposal before that would work out great. He wanted to include their two dogs into the proposal so Thomas chose Virginia Fairbanks Park for the proposal and then they would hand off their dogs to their friends and then we would head to Newfields for some photos of just the two of them.
After stopping for a pre-hike beer, Thomas, Tiffany, and their dogs headed to the park. Thomas wanted to do the proposal at the Pollinator Pavilion. Him and Tiffany are both fans of bees and Tiffany loves lavender so it made the perfect spot. Rain was in the forecast for the day but we lucked out with just a small sprinkling of rain! The four of them went on a hike around the park and I hid around trees in the area. Once they got to the pavilion, I started taking some photos of them walking to the spot and then captured the most perfect proposal. One of their dogs, Woodford, was on to me right away! You can see him looking right at me throughout the proposal like "what is this lady doing and why isn't anyone else noticing!". Luckily, Tiffany had no idea until she finally spotted me after the proposal.
After the proposal, we took some photos with their dogs, Woodford and Luna, and then we headed to Newfields to take some photos of just the two of them.
Enjoy some of my favorites from their proposal below!

Love these three photos where Tiffany finally realizes that I've been there photographing the moment!
